Opening day for our newest apartment hotel is coming up!

I have a big announcement to make.

The project that I’ve been working on for the past 18 months is finally about to open. It seems to be perfect timing with tourism beginning to pick up after all the struggles that the pandemic and protests have caused, not just for Cali but for Colombia in general.

We have converted an old building with 18 offices into a legal short-term apartment hotel with 12 high-end furnished apartments. A mix of studio units and bigger spaces with up to 4 bedrooms.

The location in Centenario is strategic. It’s half a block from the Centenario shopping center. One block from the river boulevard and the city center. One block from Platillos Voladores, arguably Cali’s best restaurant. 3-5 blocks from the Granada and El Peñon entertainment districts. Most things of interest in northwestern Cali can be reached by foot. And La Feria – the annual salsa festival – has one of it’s main events in the park right in front of the building.

This what the building looked like pre-renovation in 2019

And this is what it looks like today post renovation.

No expense was spared in making this building a fantastic spot for any visitor to stay when visiting Cali.

First we destroyed it. Then we began the rebuilding.

We did a full structural reinforcement to comply with earthquake regulations.

We changed all the electrical and plumbing installations. All ceilings, the entire roof, gutters, floors and carpentry was replaced. We installed noise reducing windows.

We increased the electrical capacity. Added hot water and air conditioning for all spaces.

The whole facade was broken down and then tiled up again.

We installed cameras, security doors, fiber optic cable TV and the fastest internet on the market.

Then we furnished it with custom-made quality furniture to make sure that our guests will have the coolest spot to enjoy that also provide a great night’s sleep.

Opening day is set to September 11. Could be a little bit sooner if all goes well. Everything is almost ready. And we’re excited to host you.

You can check out all the units on our website here. The new units are the ones that begin with and E.

We have begun taking reservations and there’s already a 20% discount applied to the first 3 reservations on all new listings.

But I’d like to add a little extra to reward you for a being a reader and also to make sure we get off to a good start.

By using this coupon 10X2021 for direct bookings you can add an additional 10% discount to your stay for the rest of the year.

If you prefer to book on Airbnb, you’re also welcome to do so – the link is here – but you will not be able to add the additional discount.

Here’s a couple of more pics of what it looks like.

  3. Patrick. Hello. I’ve written before. Is the 11th still your opening date? How do I know what’s still available, for what dates, and what is Noth. I’m looking for a studio on a monthly basis. BTW, is there an elevator to upper floors? Thanks
