Tomorrow, Caleño band Cirkus Funk will be playing in Centro Cultural Comfandi in downtown Cali. The main reason for the concert is the launch of Cirkus Funk’s second album, Space Conga.

The band has been playing together since 2010 and just recently got back from a Mexican tour. To be honest, I don’t know much about their music, but I met their manager yesterday who played a few of their songs for me and I was immediately hooked. It’s a groovy, feel-good funk with a latin twist and I’m confident that it will be a blast. Check out “Tu Funk” and “N.U.M.P.B.” to get an idea. Apparently I’m not the only one taking a liking to their music. The massive South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas has invited Cirkus Funk to this year’s event, where they will be performing on March 19, 2016.

I don’t know if tickets will be sold at the door, but pre-sales are available at northern Cali at Pacific Mall, Local 102A
and in the south at Unicentro, Local 186 Pasillo 1.

Two options are available:

$10.000 for general entrance.
$20.000 for the combo which includes a copy of their new album.

Warm-up by Lime Hash Granade.

The event starts at 7:00PM on Friday, Febuary 26th, 2016. For more information, please visit their event page on Facebook.
