As some of you might know, my daily job is the development and operation of our short term rental (Airbnb) business here in Cali.
For the past six years, our guests have told us what their dream stay in Cali looks like – and we’ve listened.
Until now, we’ve built nearly 100 EXSTR units by renovating older buildings in prime locations across the city. But this time, we decided to go all in.
This is our first fully ground-up construction, designed from scratch with every guest wish woven directly into the blueprint.
We’re racing against the clock to be ready by mid-December 2025 – just in time for La Feria de Cali – and we can’t wait to open the doors to our newest EXSTR Apartments building.
Introducing: Hygge Deluxe – 19 New Luxury Units in the Heart of Granada
This new building is our boldest step yet, bringing together Scandinavian comfort, the tropical warmth of Cali, and modern convenience.

Imagine waking up in crisp sheets, sunlight brushing across the room. You brew a perfect cup of coffee, head up to the rooftop gym for a morning workout, and stroll across the street to Café Gardenia – Granada’s #1 breakfast spot.
After fueling up, you spend the day exploring the river boulevard, vibrant murals, lush parks, boutiques, and Cali’s iconic cafés. In the evening, you enjoy dinner at a top local restaurant followed by salsa dancing or sunset cocktails at one of the nearby rooftop bars – all within walking distance.
Then you return to your king-size bed, draw the blackout curtains, and drift off in total quiet.

Growing Our Hygge Collection
This project marks the next evolution of our Hygge brand – and are naming this one Hygge Deluxe to symbolize the upgrade to our previous building.
