Space Jump: Cali’s first Trampoline Park

Although I did end up getting my ankle x-rayed after trying to backflip like a 13-year old, I must admit that it was probably one of the most fun afternoons I have had with my kids in a long time. Cali is notorious for having little to offer small kids visiting the city, but that’s about to change. The new Space Jump Trampoline Park is the latest addition to the growing number of attractions for kids.

Space Jump is not as big as some of the super-sized trampoline parks that you can find in North America, but the park has plenty of space for both adults and kids to spend a fun couple of hours. Activities include basketball, dodgeball, foam pit, wall climb, and more trampolines than I managed to count.

While I didn’t get the schedule, they do organize aerobic classes on the trampolines several times per week with an instructor, but you will need to call and reserve your spot in advance.

For people living in Cali with kids, this place also makes a great spot to host a birthday party.

Space Jump
Calle 13 (Pasoancho) # 75 -36
Cell 312-297-3556 landline (2) 347 2390

Open Monday to Friday from 2-9 PM. Weekends and holidays from 9 AM – 9 PM.

Minumum age is 3 for the trampoline park and 16 for the aerobic classes.

Price: $28.000 per hour and they call your name when the time is up. I will say that they are very relaxed about it. We paid for 2 hours but spent about 3 hours in total. Another benefit is that kids from 3-6 years can bring an adult for free and I guarantee that the adults will have as much fun as the kids.

HINT! Wear shorts and bring water, you will be sweating a LOT!

Passed through Cali for the first time in 2011, on his way from the US to Brazil on a motorcycle. Ended up kissing a caleña on his last night and the rest is history. Has been a resident of Cali, Colombia since 2013 and currently living in Barrio Bellavista with his girlfriend and 2 daughters.

  1. Nah, not the first. We used to go to “Brinca-Brinca” in 1981. It was fairly primitive, but definitely a trampoline park.

Welcome to Cali, Welcome to Colombia

… And welcome to Adventure! I arrived in Cali for the first time as a tourist in 2011, passing through on a motorcycle. When I arrived for the second time I came as a father and as a resident, without having any friends (except for my girlfriend), and without speaking Spanish.
